Dear Parker Hills Family,
With the recent outbreak of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), the Parker Hills elders have decided to make a few recommendations to you, along with a few changes to upcoming ministry events. We are not presently suspending Sunday services; however, we are offering the following advice and accommodations:
- We are encouraging all participants who are in high risk categories (older adults and those with underlying chronic medical conditions) to stay home as much as possible in order to reduce risk of exposure. If you fall into these categories:
- Several of our deacons and other church members are available and willing to run errands for you as needed. They can deliver groceries, pick up prescription medications, etc. If you would like this type of assistance, please notify Stefani Brakenhoff at [email protected] or 303-941-7833.
- Rachel Oliver has offered to exonerate you from any children’s ministry obligations until further notice. This includes duties in nursery, children’s Sunday School, and KidsVenture. If you would like be cleared from the schedule, please notify Rachel at [email protected].
- Sermons are available via the website or podcast app.
- With the help of our custodial service and a few willing church members, we will be giving our building a weekly deep clean until the pandemic subsides. We are daily wiping down door handles, light switches, and other frequently touched surfaces. And of course we are keeping plenty of hand sanitizer and soap available.
- We are canceling the luncheon which was scheduled for this Sunday, March 15. However, we do intend to maintain both our 9:30 and 10:30 meetings on Sunday as usual, at least for now.
Above all, we continue to pray for God’s wisdom and protection for our entire church family.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at 303-841-9970 or [email protected].
