We plan to have a church work day at the PHBF building this coming Saturday. The weather should be in the low 70s.
Here is the current list of proposed tasks for the Work Day.
- Since PHBF doesn’t have a very complete “tool locker” we are making it a “Bring Your Own Tools” event. If you would like to help with one of the following tasks, please bring the tools listed along with it.
- The work day starts around 8 am and ends around 2 pm (earlier if everything is finished)! We hope you can join in and enjoy some fellowship around a different type of shovel 😉
1) Tree/shrub trimming
– lopping shears / hedger
2) Tree removal
– chain saw
3) Repair septic field window pipes
– shovel
4) Reglue floor trim
– utility knife / caulk gun
5) Playground maintenance (tighten bolts)
– socket / wrench
6) Clean interior windows (auditorium, office, lobby, downstairs)
– squeegee / bucket
7) Clean exterior windows (east auditorium, office, west/north downstairs)
– squeegee / bucket
8) Trim repair around west gym door
– finish nailer / saw
9) Fix youth room attic access
– finish nailer / saw
10) Reseat retention pond drain grate
– need 6 people or 1/2 ton hoist
11) Make rough drawing to document fire extinguisher locations
12) Clean pantry shelves
– bucket / cleaning cloth
13) Fix broken pantry shelf (1×4 supplied)
14) Clean ovens
– bucket / playtex gloves
15) Clean refrigerator
– bucket / cleaning cloth
16) Paint gym walls behind pulpit and music in gym
– paint brush / paint roller on pole / drop cloth
17) Patch gym walls and touch up patched areas (orange peel / paint supplied)
